![]() I checked that the variables are working right with the commented out print statements, but when I run the program I get a message that says "Cannot rename file: Invalid argument at line 13." I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Basically, I want to write a script that when run performs a specific action if any file inside any one of a set of directories has been changed after a given point in time, and need to come up with a way to detect. ![]() Rename $oldfile, $newfile or die "Cannot rename file: $!" Im not really interested in which specific file is newer than the timestamp, only whether or not any such files exist at all. How do I get a file's timestamp in perl If you want to retrieve the time at which the file was last read, written, or had its meta-data (owner, etc) changed, you use the -M, -A, or -C filetest operations as documented in the perlfunc manpage. The package includes a bundled S Pen stylus at no extra cost and the 10.4in FHD+ screen is slightly larger. Samsung’s entry-level tablet is clearly intended as an answer to the cheapest iPad (10.2in), which at first you might think is a rather challenging position – but the Tab S6 Lite actually has a number of advantages over the iPad. Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite review: What you need to know Thankfully, Samsung is trying to address this particular predicament with the stripped-back Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and it largely succeeds – with a couple of caveats – in offering Android fans a mid-priced alternative to the iPad juggernaut. The Galaxy Tab S6 is the best that Android can currently muster but with a high price and more professional aspirations, it can’t compete at the low end. ![]() And while Windows has made great strides into the convertible, 2-in-1 and high-end portions of the market any cravings for well-priced Android alternatives are currently left unsatisfied. ![]() There’s an iPad market, and then there’s the detritus left in its wake. If you have dry skin and struggle with texture in your skin, this may not be worth it. ![]() However, if you’re in your 20s, have less texture, and you need a concealer that will match your skin tone (it comes in nearly 50 shades!) this is a great one to try. On my late 30s skin this does a lot of things that I don’t want it to do. It just isn’t great for my dry/ dehydrated skin that is more mature. Within a few hours, the concealer bunches up around my nose and pulls into fine lines. It is just a little bit too much for what I need. ![]() It is on my under eyes and around my nose where this product lets me down. The shade match is spot on and I love what this looks like on the larger areas of my face where I use concealer to camouflage redness. This concealer does tick a few boxes for me. Should you buy the Rare Beauty Liquid Touch concealer? Can I make this work? For sure, but I have tried less expensive concealers that are easier to use. I feel this concealer makes me look older and a little goes a long way. It is quite full coverage and you can see where I struggled to blend this along the lower lash line. On my under eye this is a touch too heavy for my needs. I usually use my fingers to tap it in to get that natural look I got in the swatch. It is a bit patchy because I struggle to blend it in. I feel this is a bit too thick to blend with a brush, it accentuates fine lines and dry patches and I feel it is easily overapplied. However, on my face, I had less success with this. When blended out on the back of my hand, this looks to be a satin finish product that looks very pretty on. It is a bit lighter than most concealer I have used, but then again, most concealers are simply too dark. The shade is spot on and perfectly for my skin tone. This concealer looks beautiful in a swatch. It is beautiful on some parts of my face, but on my under eye I find it a bit too thick and difficult to blend. Unfortunately that is not my experience using this. So my expectation for this was that it would be a slightly dewy, light coverage concealer that is easy to blend and looks natural on the skin. Rare Beauty claims this concealer is a lightweight, hydrating concealer with buildable coverage that should brighten the face and leave a radiant finish. I usually feel a little bit underwhelmed by most concealers that are more expensive as a result from that. Still at this price point I do expect my concealers to be better than average.įunnily enough some of my all time favorite concealers are €5 ones from the drugstore. Review: Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Brightening concealer 160CĪt €22 this concealer isn’t the most expensive but also not the least expensive. Let met explain why the Rare Beauty Liquid Touch concealer is not my favorite. It is a spot on shade, but the formula, sadly isn’t quite right for me. I have mine in 160C which is a shade described as a light shade with cool pink undertones. So I put it in a Shop My Stash and now I can give you my thoughts. I have been loving a lot from the line, but I hadn’t yet tried the Liquid Touch concealer enough. If you know anything about me, you’ll know about my love for all things Rare Beauty. ![]() ![]() ![]() Also great for stay at home parents or retirees looking for reliable, part-time work and less physical demand. ![]() ![]() It just tells a compelling and difficult story. It asks the question, “what constitutes a religion?” but doesn’t answer it. It has evolved into a hugely wealthy mega-church that does no social good at all but is so horrifying to deal with that even the IRS is afraid to take them on. The religion was invented by a severely troubled man who was both looking for an answer to his problems and also for a way to swindle people out of their money without paying taxes. It plays out both horrifyingly and not-at-all as a surprise. Going Clear, for those of you unfamiliar, is a movie adaptation of a book of the same name which chronicles the lives of members of the Church of Scientology, told mostly through stories from ex-church members. I watched Going Clear this past weekend and I thought it was a fitting wrap-up to the Tom Cruise movie-watching saga I’ve been on for several months. And Bay, ever the man to buy-in on overblown pop-culture artifacts, got his start with none other than Vanilla Ice, compiling a video compilation of Vanilla Ice’s 19 music videos in a VHS collection called “Play that Funky Music.” Music videos are, in many ways, pure spectacle – promotional pieces meant to generate excitement and advertise an underlying work of art created without the video in mind. David Fincher might be the most famous example. Hollywood Directors Brett Ratner and Antoine Fuqua as well as auteurs Michel Gondry and Spike Jonze all got their start in music videos. The short form allows for bold, truncated statements, and the nature of music allows for maximum creativity within an already-formed story. Music videos are not an unusual place for film directors to get their start. It is extremely fitting, then, that Bay’s start as a director, before explosion-filled epics such as Armageddon and Transformers into popular culture, was as the director of music videos. If you’re a fan of movies, you probably respond to the name “Michael Bay” with some combination of an eyeroll and the shouted exclamation “EXPLOSIONS!” This combination of reactions sufficiently describes Bay’s current place in our cultural consciousness. “Girl, when I first saw you it was love at first sight.” Isn’t that ridiculous? The guy was running around shooting 4 minute music videos and 30 second commercials and at some point someone had to sell Jerry Bruckheimer on using an unknown filmmaker in a production starring Will Smith and a selling point had to have been that Bay directed a softcore porn in 1990. This is Michael Bay’s first and only foray into feature film length directing prior to his first Hollywood release, Bad Boys (1995). But here’s the thing: The movie is 50 minutes long. I felt awkward watching this, and I feel awkward writing about it. Or depending on who you talk to, maybe a dramatic re-enactment form. ![]() And porn is, in a lot of ways, a documentary form. The camera angle, the zoom, and distance. This also would make Bay a pretty bad documentarian. ![]() This makes him an excellent director of action pieces. One of the things Michael Bay does really well is balancing close-ups with wide shots to convey place, action, and emotion all at the same time. The video features several interviews with Kendall mixed in with music-video style set-pieces featuring Michael Bay’s favorite things – soldiers, muscles, muscle cars, hot weather, and babes. Isn’t that weird? I watched it purely out of scientific curiosity. However, he is credited in this Playboy video. However most of these don’t show up on IMDB because Bay is only credited on a compiled collection of videos that were released in a special record release, or through different means than feature or even short films usually are. Bay’s early 1990s are full of music video and even some television commercial examples. It’s difficult to chart the early career of a film director. ![]() ![]() ![]() On receiving a COD order, the COD-to-Prepaid conversion WhatsApp automation flow is triggered. With LimeChat, this Whatsapp campaign is a one-time, quick setup that automatically triggers notifications after the customer places a COD order. People with few LinkedIn contacts, in my experience, are not active, and it often ends up being a waste of time vetting someone only to discover they aren't involved, which means it won't be an excellent way to connect. A way to sort by the number of contacts would be helpful in the search function. While the information is generally accurate, some searches return results for people whose profiles are outdated. It's short and simple, with information about the company, decision-makers, employees, and recent LinkedIn and other activity. ![]() ![]() The search function is useful because it allows us to drill down into specific market segments as we build business development contact lists. PROSįinding the right people to connect with in an organization is the best part of Sales Navigator. LinkedIn is by far the best way to connect B2B, and Sales Navigator allows you to go far beyond LinkedIn's basic features. This tool is essential if you spend a significant amount of time on business development. The business insights are also very limited and seem inaccurate for smaller companies. I would rather LinkedIn make it very obvious was my browsing mode is at all times, rather than burying it in the settings. It can also be hard to tell whether you are in Anonymous mode, especially when switching between Sales Navigator and LinkedIn. Most people in my network are just trying to promote job their posts and have no interest in further collaboration. I've found it hard to connect with leads in a meaningful way. I enjoy looking up a company and then seeing all their employees and those employees' LinkedIn activity. I love it as a research and information-gathering tool. LinkedIn Sales Navigator is great for competitive research and learning more about potential clients. I could see this being beneficial in industries that use LinkedIn for conversations and networking but that doesn't seem to be the case for our blue-collar network. While it has made it easy to find other marketers in our field, their activity is very limited on LinkedIn, which makes it challenging to "naturally" connect with anyone. My team decided to try LinkedIn Sales Navigator as a marketing tool, rather than a Sales tool. Most of the contact numbers & email ids are personal and at many times inmail message sent to prospects through the Sales Navigator tool goes unnoticed and unread. They must provide support through Chat & Phone Calls also. We need to raise tickets for any issues & they take their own time to provide resolution. There's no customer support available from LinkedIn Team over the Phone. We create lists of our prospects for better nurturing - Very effective for engagement and networking - Helps in targetted marketing & order conversion CONS We use it for business development and getting qualified leads - It provides a global database of key decision-makers of companies. It provides great business results just after Google Adwords. It's very productive for B2B businesses like ours who do a lot of targeted and segmented marketing. This is the best tool to find, reach and build digital engagement with the target audience. It takes time to build credibility with prospects through continuous engagement and then get business results. Also, it does not provide instant results. ![]() |
